1. Broadcast Accreditation — KBP

Backspace Media | bksp.fm is accredited by the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP), the self-regulatory body for Philippine broadcasters. We adhere to the KBP Broadcast Code standards for content, advertising, and listener protection across our 24/7 stream and live simulcasts.

2. Music Licensing — FILSCAP

Music broadcast on Backspace Radio is licensed through the Filipino Society of Composers, Arrangers and Publishers (FILSCAP). We maintain current licensing for the public performance of musical works within our stream rotation.

3. Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173)

We comply with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations. We collect only necessary data, process it on lawful bases, and provide data-subject rights including access, rectification, and deletion. See our Privacy Policy and Data Deletion Policy.

4. E-Commerce Act of 2000 (RA 8792)

Our digital services, sponsorships, and online engagements comply with the Electronic Commerce Act, which recognizes the legal validity of electronic transactions, documents, and signatures.

The Backspace Media name, logo, and original content are protected under Philippine intellectual property law and the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL). 7. Consumer Protection

Sponsorship and rate-card engagements are conducted transparently with written agreements. We honor consumer rights under the Philippine Consumer Act (RA 7394) for any paid engagements, including clear disclosure of deliverables and pricing.

Backspace Media | bksp.fm is registered for applicable Philippine tax obligations under the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). Official receipts and tax documentation are issued for paid sponsorships and services upon request.
