1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or streaming any part of bksp.fm, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site and services.

2. License to Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to stream and view content on bksp.fm for non-commercial, personal use. You may not redistribute, rebroadcast, download, or commercially exploit our stream or podcast content without written permission.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on bksp.fm — the Backspace Media name, logo, audio stream, podcast episodes, show formats, schedule, and written content — is owned by or licensed to Backspace Media | bksp.fm and protected by Philippine and international copyright law. Music broadcast is licensed through FILSCAP. See our DMCA / Copyright page for takedown requests.

4. User Submissions

When you submit a startup, sponsor inquiry, or job application, you grant Backspace Media a royalty-free, worldwide license to use the information you provide for review, broadcast discussion, and follow-up. You confirm the information is accurate and that you own or are authorized to share any pitch deck or architecture URL provided.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the stream or site infrastructure.
• Rebroadcast, re-stream, or commercially exploit our audio without authorization.
• Submit false, misleading, or infringing information through our forms.
• Use automated tools to scrape content or data at scale without consent.

6. Sponsorships & Rate Card

Sponsorship placements and rate-card engagements are governed by separate agreements. The Rate Card page describes available packages; final deliverables, pricing, and terms are confirmed in writing. All placements are KBP-accredited and FILSCAP-licensed.

7. Disclaimers

The stream and content are provided 'as is.' We do not guarantee uninterrupted 24/7 availability and are not liable for temporary outages, server maintenance, or third-party platform (StreamYard, AzuraCast) disruptions. Podcast deep-dives are commentary and analysis, not professional advice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Backspace Media | bksp.fm shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or stream. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the preceding 12 months.

9. Governing Law (E-Commerce Act RA 8792)

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, including the Electronic Commerce Act of 2000 (RA 8792) and the Data Privacy Act of 2012. Disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Manila, Philippines.

10. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Check the 'Last updated' date for currency.
